2. Personal Data We May Collect
Depending on your interaction, we may collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, company or organisation name, contact-person information, billing, pickup or delivery information, and information you voluntarily provide through forms, email, WhatsApp or other communications.
- Repairs and services: device type, brand, model, serial number or device identifier, reported issue, condition, diagnostic information, photographs you supply, number of devices and pickup or delivery requirements.
- Corporate and B2B procurement: business information, specifications, quantities, quotations and commercial requirements.
- Buyback and lifecycle services: device specifications, identifiers, condition, photographs you supply, ownership or transaction information where reasonably required, and collection or payment information.
Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information in general enquiry fields. Hosting and font-delivery providers process technical request information, including IP addresses, browser/request headers and requested resources, to deliver and protect the website. See Cookies & Website Technologies below.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries; prepare quotations; manage orders and procurement; assess and fulfil repair or service requests; carry out authorised diagnostics; arrange pickup and delivery; provide transaction and service updates; evaluate buyback requests; manage B2B and channel-partner requirements; and provide customer support.
We also use information where reasonably necessary to maintain business records, protect systems, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal, tax, accounting and regulatory requirements.
4. Notice and Consent
Where processing relies on consent, we provide information about the personal data requested and the specified purpose, including notices beside relevant forms. Please review that notice before proceeding. You may ask questions or withdraw consent, where applicable, by emailing [email protected] or contacting us by phone or WhatsApp.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We will explain where it prevents us from continuing a requested service or where another lawful requirement requires us to retain particular records. We do not require marketing consent as a condition of submitting a service enquiry.
5. Device Repair & Personal Data
Devices submitted for diagnostics or repair may contain personal, confidential or business data. Please maintain an appropriate backup before service whenever reasonably possible and remove sensitive information where practicable. Tell us about relevant access restrictions before service begins.
NIVIUS does not intentionally inspect personal files, photographs, messages or documents unless reasonably necessary for an authorised diagnostic or service activity, or specifically authorised by the customer. Any necessary access should be limited to the agreed work. Do not send device credentials through a general website enquiry.
6. Sharing of Personal Data
NIVIUS does not sell personal data.
Where reasonably necessary, information may be shared with logistics or pickup providers; hosting and technology providers; communication providers; payment providers where applicable; professional advisers; and vendors or service partners involved in fulfilling an authorised requirement. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.
We aim to limit shared information to what is relevant to the purpose and use appropriate safeguards for service-provider access.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and its use, including restricting access to authorised purposes. No electronic system, transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Please notify us promptly if you believe information connected with your NIVIUS interaction has been compromised.
8. Personal Data Breaches
NIVIUS will assess, contain and address personal-data breaches and make notifications to affected individuals or competent authorities where required by applicable law. Our response will depend on the circumstances and the requirements in force at the time.
9. Data Retention & Erasure
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, requested services, transaction and business records, dispute resolution and applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and transaction; this policy does not set a single period for every record.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, information no longer required will be erased or anonymised. A request for erasure may be subject to lawful retention requirements, which we will explain where relevant.
10. Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and the provisions in force, you may request information about processing, correction, completion or updating of your data, erasure, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it, grievance redressal and nomination of another individual where the law provides for this.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may request proportionate information to verify identity or authority and locate the relevant records. We will respond in accordance with applicable requirements and explain any lawful limitation. This policy does not represent that every DPDP provision is already in force.
11. Grievance Redressal
Privacy questions, complaints and requests may be sent to [email protected] or raised at +91 9632663644. Please describe your concern and the relevant interaction without including unnecessary sensitive information. We will review it and respond under applicable requirements. Any right to approach a competent authority remains available subject to the law and procedures in force.
12. Children’s Personal Data
Our website and services are principally intended for adults, businesses and professional users. We do not intentionally solicit children’s personal data through the general website. Where processing a child’s data is necessary and lawful, we will seek verifiable parental or lawful guardian consent where required by applicable law and apply the safeguards required at that time. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information inappropriately should contact us.
13. Cookies & Website Technologies
The current website uses JavaScript for navigation, product interactions and enquiry preparation. Its application code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and does not use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Enquiry and assessment values are held in the current page’s memory; no application account or persistent browser storage is used for those values.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and processes network request information needed for delivery and security. The website requests DM Sans and Manrope fonts from Google Fonts; those requests disclose your IP address and browser request information to Google. Infrastructure providers may apply necessary security technologies according to their own practices. We do not claim to control all provider-side logging or cookies.
The enquiry tool prepares text in your browser. Copying an enquiry uses your clipboard when you choose that action. Information is sent to WhatsApp when you follow the WhatsApp link; NIVIUS receives the message when you send it there. Email and telephone links open your chosen applications. You can manage cookies and site permissions in your browser, although blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
14. WhatsApp, Email & Third-Party Platforms
WhatsApp, email, payment services where applicable, and other third-party platforms may independently process information under their own privacy practices. Their handling may include account, communication and technical information. Review their policies before using them. We cannot control the practices of independent platforms.
15. Cross-Border Processing
Some technology or cloud providers may use infrastructure outside India. Any processing of personal data in connection with NIVIUS remains subject to applicable Indian requirements and restrictions, including any restrictions in force on transfers or overseas processing. We do not promise that all website or communication data remains exclusively in India.
16. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or applicable law. The current version and its Last Updated date will appear here. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek fresh consent for a changed purpose.
